Why A Communication Plan is Key

After a good "communication" plan in place with the VA is an important step in creating your employment. When both sides know how communications will flow there is a sense of comfort in a relationship. That does not mean you have to stay with a plan to develop. As the business grows and changes You May find a need to adjust your communication plan to better suit the current needs and your customers.

Some examples of communication plans that I used are as follows:

VA and client communicate by regular e-mail and one-hour phone call each week to discuss current and future tasks. This type of communication plan works well with clients who have worked closely with on multiple projects. He gives both sides of personal relationships and allows for easy discussion, but the interpretation of the details within the e-mail. This weekly call is invaluable in a relationship with customers and I know I appreciate it also.

The second type of communication plan includes regular e-mail and bi-weekly or monthly one hour phone calls. When working with clients on specific self-directed tasks such as article submissions bank, it may be easier to talk over the phone less often, but that communication via e-mail opened more often.

You and your client may decide to make the phone more or less often that the two plans I mentioned above. The need for live voice communication (telephone or otherwise), is deliberate. It adds strength and builds trust in your relationship, as we all know is very important to grow and expand their business. Each client's needs and business are unique and require individualized communication plan that meets the needs of both VA and the client.
